A History of Community Care

In 1867, a community pharmacy was founded on Capitol Hill. Now known as Grubb's Pharmacy, it is one of the oldest surviving pharmacies in America and is still serving the District of Columbia from the original building located on East Capitol Street.

After over 150 years of service, Grubb's Pharmacy continues to provide the best possible care while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity within our industry. Stemming from the location on Capitol Hill, Grubb's SE Pharmacy and Mini Mart was established in SE DC to better serve those needing specialized pharmacy care in Ward 8. 

Grubb's SE is dedicated to providing its patients, their families, and caregivers with the finest in pharmaceutical care. We work closely with your doctors, nurses, case managers, and other health care professionals to provide custom products and services for the individual needs of each patient.

In addition to serving as a full-service pharmacy for the local community, Grubb's SE is an advocate for its patients, including fighting for further HIV/AIDS research and supporting non-profit organizations that raise awareness and offer support to those suffering from complex diseases.
